  According to his Interview with Chris Heath (Rollingstone 08/2000) Keanu has no plans to direct a movie himself, yet. The topic of producing a film wasn’t touched, though.
• Did Keanu ever do any commercials?
  Yes, he did commericals for Coca Cola, Kellogs, Whisky (Suntory)
• What was Keanu’s first stage appearance?
  Keanu made his first stage appearances in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and the homoerotic ‘Wolfboy’ (1984).
• What was Keanu’s first movie appearance?
  He shot his first film “Youngblood” (1986), in Canada. His first Hollywood film was 1986’s Act of Vengeance.

  Dogstar have released two full-length albums up: “Our Little Visionary” and “Happy Ending” plus one ep called “Quattro Formaggi Ep”. Keanu is said to love ballroom dancing.

  It’s a Hawaiian name and means ‘cool breeze over the mountains’.

  He was born in Beirut (Lebanon).

  He once said, he wasn’t very good at picking favourites. But names that were being dropped from time to time include Shakespeare, Thomas Mann, Dostoevsky, Arthur Rimbaud and William Gibson.
• What religion does Keanu belong to? Media hints he’s Zen Buddhist. Maybe just meditates?
  According to statements of Keanu in several interviews he doesn’t actively participate in any religion. Being asked about his role in ‘Little Buddha’ Keanu told an inteviewer “I’m acting. I had no exposure to Buddhism. All I knew about Buddha was that he was a smiling fat man with big ears.” Getting into the role involved some research for Keanu. “I started to meditate and read about Buddhism. I started to think about old age, suffering and dead. You really try to have an emotive experience with the suffering of other beings. That’s a beginning. I packed one suitcase - most of it was books - and I just went. The falling away of accoutrements was easy.”
• Hello again, webmaster! I have another question re Keanu - In The Matrix, Keanu had no scar on his stomach, but in the Replacements he had a big vertical scar on his abdomen. Was there a double for his body in the Matrix?
  You’re right, Keanu was ‘doubled’ in some parts of the matrix. in this picture you can see, that they used a dummy instead of the real keanu for some scenes. the scar on his stomach is a reminder of a motorcycle accident he had in Topanga Canyon in spring 1988. He had another ‘major’ crash in ca. 1996 leaving him with a scar on his right leg. to my knowledge he hasn’t had any other really bad crashes after that. although, he had to undergo neck-surgery after that a few times.
• I hope to God that this is NOT true, but, everyone tells me that my baby Keanu is gay, I hope so much that he is not, and I was just wondering if he is!! So, is he?
  Keanu is not very clear about his sexual orientation. Back in 1990 he declared to Interview magazine that he is straight. But after a short pause joked about it by saying: “But ya never know”. Keanu Reeves to USA Today: “I don’t know why anyone cares [if I'm gay], and I don’t know if it matters or not. I just, uh, I don’t — it’s, you know, the whole aspect of coming out. I mean, there is a whole — people, you know, who are gay [who] have decided that it can be — that whole thing about calling people out — and you have to share that, because there needs to be an equality and a lack of prejudice, and you need to have a voice, so, I mean, it’s important, but I’m not involved in those dynamics and I have no point of view on it.” Keanu Reeves to Vanity Fair: ” There’s nothing wrong with being gay, so to deny it is to make a judgement.” “I don’t know why anyone cares [if I'm gay], and I don’t know if it matters or not.
