According to Reuters:
A Los Angeles judge on Monday threw out charges of assault and battery brought against Keanu Reeves by a photographer who claimed the “Matrix” actor deliberately hit him with his car.
“There was no evidence of the slightest contact or the slightest touching,” Los Angeles Superior Court judge Elizabeth Grimes said during a court hearing.
“It didn’t happen. Plainly Mr. Reeves intended to drive away. That intent is not lawful,” Grimes said, dismissing most of the lawsuit.
Photographer Alison Silva sued Reeves last year over injuries he said he suffered in a March 2007 incident when Reeves was trying to leave a Los Angeles area clinic in his Porsche.
Grimes ruled however that the photographer fell because he tripped on his own feet, adding that Reeves himself appears to have been the victim of an assault when Silva put his hands on the actor’s car.
Reeves said in a sworn statement submitted in July that Silva was blocking his car from driving away but that he did not try to harm the photographer.
Silva also sued Reeves for negligence over the incident and Grimes ruled that that portion of the lawsuit should go to trial in October.
Before the encore presentation of J.J. Abrams’ “Fringe” last night on Fox, an extended 7-minute preview for the upcoming remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still aired. I actually watched it on TV before it showed up here and will say again what I thought then - this looks awesome! I know I’m excited for a lot of movies a lot of the time, but being a big sci-fi fan, The Day the Earth Stood Still has now shot to the top of my most anticipated list for the rest of the year, right below Quantum of Solace. This 7-minute extended preview features a lot of the scenes we saw at Comic-Con, including the incredibly intense part in the middle where Keanu Reeves takes over the guy who is interviewing him and escapes. I know I’m not alone in my excitement, so hopefully those who are in agreement with me will voice their opinion, too.
I wish I could better explain why I think this looks great, but it’s a bit hard. Not only does it look very polished, which is a very important thing for me, but Keanu actually looks like the perfect choice and the story looks like an appropriately modern upgrade. Being a huge sci-fi guy, my excitement for this is driven purely by my interest in the subject and the intensity of the scenes, including that ending with Gort. We’ll see how all of this holds up in December when I actually get to see the finished film. Thoughts?

Today (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT), Fox kicks-off the night with an exclusive first look at an extended scene from Keanu Reeves’ The Day the Earth Stood Still, followed by a preview of “24: Redemption,” the two-hour special event airing this November on the network.
Immediately after the exclusive previews, the series premiere of “Fringe” will encore, followed by an exclusive preview of the first four minutes of the series’ second episode.
From J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, “Fringe” is a new procedural thriller that explores the blurring line between the possible and the unimaginable.
“Fringe’s” second episode airs in its regularly scheduled time period Tuesday, Sept. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox. The episode features Olivia, Walter and Peter investigating the deaths of a woman who experiences a pregnancy accelerated beyond belief and her “senior-citizen” newborn.
Filmed on location in South Africa and Los Angeles, “24: Redemption” airing Sunday, Nov. 23 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox, stars Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland along with new series cast members Cherry Jones, Robert Carlyle, Gil Bellows and Academy Award winner Jon Voight. The two-hour event finds Jack Bauer battling an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, “24: Redemption” will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven, which will debut in January 2009.

I just came across to the website of the company that is producing “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee“, Salt., and just saw this pretty poster in the movie’s page.
There’s no other size, but I’m glad Keanu has his own.
Can’t wait to see more about this movie!
